Riding Shay #6 to Spruce, we pass scenic mountain views, and watch Shay #11 pass us on a switchback on the way to Whittaker Station. Later, in our company house, the kids race around and around. The next day we drive north to Durbin to ride the "Durbin Rocket" -- a Climax locomotive -- down the Greenbrier River.
