Boat Races Ft Ass to Whitecourt 0001
From Woodlands RV Park & Marina to Whitecourt; these speed jet boats average 120 miles per hour. It took them an average 35 minutes to go 55 miles! A little faster than the Hobi_1 to say the least! The Athabasca River was quite low on May long weekend, so it made the races just a little more exciting for the skippers and navigators of the boats! We had the privelege of being a spotter boat and had a birds eye view of the one section of the race. Thrilling!
