The NS Pittsburgh Line
[high quality!!!] Having acquired a Sony DVD camcorder this year, which was brought on this years trip to the USA. I later found this to be quite difficult to use and edit, so I experimentally used my Pentax for some video towards the end of the vacation. Most of the shots were from Cresson PA, with some from Coburn PA and Conemaugh PA. The song is (Take me home - John Denver) and, I think, captures the spirit of American freight railroading.

Bye Bye, Big Blue - A Conventional Trio
We were staying at the Station Inn in Cresson during our trip, which made catching the evening action at the Cresson helper station that much more convenient. While Geeps and sds shuffled about in the helper station, an all-conventional cab trio headed east with a TV train - SD40-2, SD50, and SD70. Why they couldn't have just gone and put an SD60 in there to complete the set, I'll never know. :)
