To some he was a very gifted footballer that was ahead of his time, to others he was nothing but pure clumsy. The truth probably lies somewhere in between. Savo was most definatly a hero when he scored a absolute scorcher against Leeds United in the 1996 League cup final. Less than two years later though his Villa days were numbered when a infamous spitting incident at Blackburn. A couple of months after arriving at Villa from Partizan Belgrade, he raced from one end of the pitch to the other end of the pitch were the Villa fans were sitting in the Darwin End at Blackburn when he scored his first goal for the club. Whatever your opinions of the Serbian he was certainly value for money when Brian Little splashed out £3.5million in the summer of 1995. While he never looked like he would reproduce his goalscoring that he produced in his homeland he still averaged a goal every 3 games with 28 goals in 90 appearances. And when he wasnt in the team it was noticed, as Dwight Yorke often scored more goals when Milosevic was in the side.
