Video Press Release - Acworth, GA Dec. 4, 2008 Findleys Meat Co. (3450 NW Cobb Parkway, Suite 150 Acworth, GA 30101) was recently acquired by Widaski Meats, Atlanta area butcher and owner of the Douglasville Retail Meat and Smokehouse in Douglasville, GA, about 20 minutes outside Atlanta, GA. Owner David Widaski will be stocking the Acworth store with Boars Head Cold Cuts and Cheese, certified angus beef (CAB) steaks, ribs, prime rib, hamburger meat (85/15) and roasts, smoked / fried turkeys, as well as his Cajun, Polish, German, Italian and English specialty sausages. All sausage items are made from scratch and smoked in the Douglasville Smokehouse. Future plans include adding a smokehouse to the Acworth location. David brings over 30 years of meat processing experience to this new butcher shop for the Acworth, Kennesaw, Dallas, Hiram, Woodstock, Cartersville, Marietta and Powder Springs markets, to compliment the Douglas and Carroll county locations already served by his current store.
