![]() | Handling adult male B. jacksoni This is my recently matured male Babycurus jacksoni. You can tell that its a male by it's bulbous chela (claws, pinchers, whatever you want to call them). He's smaller than I thought he'd be as an adult. NOTE: I don't advise handling these species let alone any other species of scorpion. This species, on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being the weakest venom level, is a 3. It can produce a painful sting if you make the wrong move. Do not handle these if you get the creepy crawlies easily!... |

![]() | Transporting B. jacksoni into new enclosures - Part 1 I recently purchased 5 of these "cheese block" shaped containers at a used item store for buck a piece. I decided to use them for my 5 4th instar Babycurus jacksoni. They sit on a rotating carousel. I thought they were pretty cool. Enjoy! NOTE: I do not advise getting this close to these scorpions, as they can produce a painful sting and you'll never know if you'll have a sudden allergic reaction. I've never been stung, so even I do not know if I'm allergic or not. |

The scorpion in the video is a little too big for the container, don't worry he will get a new house later tonight. Music - "Perverted Undertone" by Prefuse 73 |
