Bill Nye the Science Guy - 01 - Flight 1/3
It's Bill Nye the Science Guy! In this episode, Bill explores the science behind flight. Animals have done it for millions of years, yet man has only mastered it within the last century. Flight utilizes Bernoulli's Principle, which tells us that the faster a fluid, like air, travels, the lower its pressure. A wing is shaped in such a way that air is forced to travel a longer distance over the top in the same amount of time, meaning it is forced to travel faster. This faster air creates decreased pressure above the wing, which pushes the wing up with a force we call lift. Enjoy, please rate and comment. Amazing Flying Helicopter - Defying The Laws Of Physics
How can this thing fly? No rotor blades turning, it defies the laws of physics! Before anyone says, I know how it is flying, the frames per second of the camera recording are exactly the same as the rotations of the rotor blade per second. So don't be a smart-ass and post this, I already know :) Blog! http://boredstudent.wordpress.com/ Check it out!
