I've tried relentlessly to press my pigments with alcohol and was always sad to find the finished product too flaky or easily broken. I know this sounds so weird, but I've experimented pressing with Biosilk Silk Hair Therapy and it worked beautifully. Don't worry! Biosilk is safe on the use of skin and contains the ingredients Dimethicone and Cyclomethicone, two usual ingredients listed in make up primers and skincare products. Biosilk will leave your finished pressed eyeshadow with a faint pleasant scent. I've thrown away all my previously alcohol pressed pigments and spent a lot of time making new ones. Have fun!

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is before you press the eyeshadow, you need to test it to see if it's ready. they way to "test it" is to lightly touch it with your finger.
