Departing from Mall of America
On board a Hiawatha line train as it begins its run from moa to Minneapolis. While this is a northbound run, the train leaves MOA by first heading south, out of the rail station deep in lower level of a parking garage. When the train emerges into daylight, it turns east along Old Shakopee Road and crosses 24th Avenue South, where I caught a glimpse of the parking garage (and of another train approaching moa). June, 2007.
