Will we ever travel at the speed of light? Our mind does. As the sun shines you notice how it effects you and the earth. You don't see the heat it provides, the way plants and ourselves use its energy. It's a feeling. Just as you can't see the wind, you can feel how it effects the world around you. Do you believe things only to be real if you can see them then? You can't see the air but you without thinking about it rely on it to survive. Life is much deeper than the job you have and the path you've taken throughout your life. Dreams are the same as memories of your past. As you think back on a memory is it not just the same as a vivid lucid dream? Just so you have more of an understanding of this video I've just put up, I'll let you in on what's going on in it. I had lived in the same house growing up for 24 years. Towards the end of my time there I would make videos of what was going on around me. I was living there by myself enjoying the silence provided after my parents had moved out, staying there in the transitional period of them having the house on the market as the market continued to get worse. I would sometimes set the camera up as I would randomly sit down at the piano with no knowledge of reading music. Each time I would randomly hit the keys and try to make noise. This video captures one of those jams. At the house we had a little over an acre of land with a creek and wild life from deer,snakes,ground hogs,squirrels,cray fish and a fox family. I would take video of the wild life every now and then if the camera was near by and they were out. So I came across some of the DV tapes of the footage recently and decided to edit something together with it. The trees in the video are now totally gone as the people who have since moved into the house took out all the trees in the back which had been there probably longer than a few human life times, to build a retaining wall and a pigeon coup. I know right? wtf? The baby fox in the video was actually crying out at a lost dog that it along with another fox had pinned under the deck of the house, yelping at it the whole time. (I might put up the rest of the video from that later). I'm not really sure why I took video of inside the room, the light was coming in cool so I think I just grabbed a shot of it. anyways it kind of captures the aloneness that was there with me as I was there by myself for over a year. I miss the house where I grew up in, but have vivid great memories of it that exist in my mind just like a dream. If those memories are real, are then the dreams we all have not? I feel people sometimes loose sight of the wonder that life is as we get older. Getting stuck in that 9 to 5 routine. Keeping the imagination you had as a kid and continuing to grow that imagination is your human goal. So don't loose sight of that as our responsibilities become greater throughout our time here. Stress and anxiety are common place in this world we live in now as the dollar is worthless, but in our collective minds numbers control how we live. Don't worry about collecting numbers as in the end truth will be the only survivor and you will be Free. Thanks for reading and watching if you did. Happy 2009 to everyone.
