Although we did not see or encounter any alligators, a week after, to the day, on June 19th 1993, Bradley Weidenhamer a 10 year old boy was killed by an 11'4" alligator while wading in the Loxahatchee River in Jonathan Dickinson State Park at 6:00 in the evening.
