Kent Vintage Drum Kit part 3
Description:
This is a 1960's kent drum kit: AKA "poor man gretsch" . The sizes are 9x13/16x16/14x22--Snare drum is a matching 4.5x14.In this video i am not using the kent snare drum. I am using a custom 4x14 30 ply snare drum. ORIGINAL orange sparkle finish. 2 ply maple shells. Aquarian vintage batter side on toms. powerstroke 3 fiberskyn bass drum heads on both sides with NO MUFFLING. I bought this kit off Ebay about a year ago and is one of my go to sets now.

 | Vintage Ludwig "Club Date" Drum Set This is a 1962 Vintage Ludwig "Club Date" style drum set in Gold Sparkle. The Club Date series of drums used the same 3 ply shells as Ludwig's more expensive "Classic" line but used a center lug design as a cost saving measure. These drums sound great, possibly in part due to the lower mass mounted on the shell. Due to their slightly lower cost many beginning drummers in the 60's started out on Club Dates. |
