Despite that year's announcement of the closure of Swindon Works, 1985 marked the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Great Western Railway by Act of Parliament. World Tour - Day 29
Coming back from Swindon where we'd played the night before was not particularly exciting - we got on the bus about 7:15am and then made our way back to London. I did some work on other videos and then we had a couple of gigs to attend to - one at a cool place in Banham called The Bedford (though the organisers were a bit square) and then with our mates Marner Brown at Filthy's in Twickenham - that was a cracker.
