ELS Meets CN in Green Bay 4/13/2008
Description:
The conclusion of "Chasing ELS 400 Stiles Junction to Howard 4/13/2008". ELS 400 and 402 lead their train into CN's North Green Bay Yard, holding up CN Train L537, which is waiting to head north on the Marinette Sub behind CN SD40-2W 5335 and Wisconsin Central GP40 3017. The CN train departs as soon as ELS clears the yard switch. The N. Military Avenue grade crossing has gone from bad to worse. Not only is the same light still burnt out as last Sunday, but the crossing bell which sounded fine a week ago fails to sound at all. This time I got fed up and called the hotline number, and they said they'd get a maintainer out to it.
