The whole thing was recorded with two Shure SM57 microphones, one facing towards the drum set and one towards the cabinet. No mixing or mastering were done for the audio, it's just raw data from the mics. You cannot hear the ride strokes etc. very well because of the YouTube conversion. We both had been playing our instruments approximately 3 years and 6 months when this video were recorded and we were 18 years old. The drum kit I'm using: DRUMS Sonor Delite (Brilliant Black) 22"x17" Bass Drum 10"x9" Tom Tom 12"x10" Tom Tom 14"x12" Tom Tom 14"x5" Snare CYMBALS Meinl Amun 10" Splash Meinl Amun 14" Medium Hi-Hat Meinl Amun 16" Medium Crash Meinl Amun 18" Medium Crash Meinl Amun 20" Medium Ride Paiste 2002 18" China HEADS Powerstroke III Clear/EQ3 Black Resonant Emperor Clear/Ambassador Clear Ambassador Coated/Ambassador Snare Side HARDWARE Tama & Sonor Pearl PowerShifter Eliminator P2002B (Red Cams, Tama Rubber Beaters & Axis Regular Springs) The guitar is Epiphone Les Paul Standard and the amplifiers are Polytone Mini-Brute II (160W) + Hartke 410TP (300W) which were connected to Line 6 PODXT. |
![]() | 9/11 Tribute :::ANY COMMENTS NOT REFERRING TO THE VIDEO OR THE LOSES OF 9/11 WILL BE DELETED. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE POLITICAL DEBATES, DO SO THROUGH MESSAGES, NOT COMMENTS ON THIS VIDEO. I DO BELIEVE IN FREE SPEECH AND AM FINE WITH EVERYONE HAVING THEIR OWN OPINIONS, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO POST COMMENTS ON MY VIDEO THAT CREATE EVEN MORE HATE AND MISCOMMUNICATION THAN THERE ALREADY IS IN THIS WORLD. ANY SLANDER/NAME-CALLING/PUT-DOWNS OF ANY KIND WILL BE REMOVED::: Thank you. This is a tribute to 9/11/01. I only made this video in an hour because I heard this song on Sept. 11th and decided that I had to make a video for it. The song is "How to Save a Life" by the Fray, but it is a remix that a radio station did that has some audio and phone calls from 9/11. The website at the end is where you can download the song. --Edit: The song is no longer available at that website. Try iTunes to download-- Please remember that day, those lost, and those who lost them. You're all in our hearts. ::All pictures belong to the photographers who took them, and the song belongs to the band. I have no copyright over any of the material used:: |
