Unfortunately, the land surrounding this pristine spring is in danger of being developed, and the Southwest Florida Water Management District has already approved the withdrawal of up to 100,000 gallons per day from the aquifer. This is one of those fun 40 seconds of video that did not end up in any final video but it is too cool to leave un-broadcasted. This video of a Double-Crested Cormorant (diving bird) that happened to be in Three Sisters Spring in a time when there was no Manatees. I wish I was better prepared to take the video of the bird, he was really fun to watch. |
