In Febuary of 1996, conference leading Beloit Memorial traveled to Sun Prairie for what was supposed to be an easy victory. However, Sun Prairie forced the game into overtime and then took a 2 point lead with under 20 seconds to go. Beloit's Neil Harrison dribbles the ball up court, and is unable to get an open look for a shot. Tony Cerniglia gets the ball in the corner with 4 seconds left and sinks a 3 point basket just before the buzzer, right in front of the Sun Prairie student section. Game Over!
