Alaska HDTV Presents: Hatcher Pass "Unknown" hike. Greetings Hike of the Week fans! We originally had another hike planned but the pass was not open through to Summit Lake, so the hike was diverted to a spontaneous location I've not hiked in over ten years. ÂWe'll call this one though a very scenic, family friendly, and not heavily traveled hike from what I could see. It's July 2nd as I write this and we've still a fare amount of snow still on the ground with early spring still coming through in areas above 2000 feet.
