Italian Railways. Part 1. Varenna.
A quick view of Italian service trains, that run alongside the beautiful Lake Como (Lago di Como). First train taken from Varenna Esino Station, during a thunderstorm, and the other shots taken just around the corner at one of the many villas along the lake. P.s. I know that all the steam fans looking at these, will think I've changed sides. That's not the case, its just Italy doesn't have much steam, and certainly not around Milan. I did see one Italian steam loco however, but it was parked on a plinth, away from any railway, and we were in the car at the time, so I didn't get a picture. Anyway, the modern image trains were only to keep me occupied.
