ARHS Ebenezer trip - 1089 - Brunswick St to The Ekka.
After just coming out of the tunnel which makes up Brunswick Street railway station, 1089 heads towards Bowen Hills. This is the crew change point for the majority of QR citytrain services. We then travel via "The-Hole-In-The-Wall" under the Brisbane Inner City Bypass, which turns the train nearly 180 degrees, facing south now as we run next to Mayne depot. a QR 6 car EMU arrives on platform 4 @ Roma Street on a service to Darra vai South Brisbane & Tennyson.
QR ICE 154 failing @ Eumundi
QR Citytrain Intercity Express unit 154/157 malfunction just before the station @ Eumundi working the Gympie North service X954. This service was 8 minutes late into the City stations. These units also provided the service to Cooroy (X403 & X988) and made that 10 minutes late to the City stations.

ARHS Ebenezer trip - 1089 - Departing Ipswich.
1089 has filed up with water and the pilot driver is onboard. There is some wheel slip as the train gets up the grade out of the station. The sidings for QR citytrains can be seen on the left and the operational turntable and branch line to the Ipswich Rail Museum is on the right.
QR EMU 52/26 @ Eudlo
You can hear trains approaching in the Down direction for 2 minutes before you see them in the peaceful town of Eudlo on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. QR Citytrain Electric Multiple Unit Class 52 & 26 passes over Highlands Road on their approach to Eudlo station on a Tuesday morning.
ARHS Rail and Sail to Sandgate with BB18¼ 1089
BB18¼ 1089 heads the ARHS Rail and Sail excursion to Sandgate where passengers will board the MV Queensland for a cruise down the Brisbane River. This was the first passenger run for BB18¼ 1089 in over a year following a lengthy absence from traffic with the re-tyring of 4 of the locomotive's driving wheels. 9.05.2009
