It wasn't that long ago that this work site at the new Country Inn and Suites Motel located near the I-10 interchange and S. Ferd on Boulevard was bustling with activity as construction of the new motel was well underway. But that all came to a screeching halt on July 6, when city officials ordered an immediate work stoppage. According to the city's Administrative Assistant Mike Wing the city received a letter from the states Department of Professional Business Regulations, indicating that there may be some irregularities with the license of Triple P construction, one of the main contractors working on the project.
