In the auditorium, Zeyanna Defortunato, 18, saw part of the ceremony with hundreds of seniors as video streamed on a wide screen. It gives us all the strength to go on. Anything is possible, she said. In a second-floor art room, Scheleda Grimes, 17, teared up as she and other students gathered around a television. I want to cry right now. ... It is something that is serious and it means a lot to all of us, Grimes said. In a computer classroom, Kimberny Henry, 16, sat watching streaming video of President Barack Obamas inaugural speech in a computer classroom. I witnessed history right here: the first African-American president. All of the stuff that Martin Luther King said, all that kind of stuff, it finally came true, Henry said.
