 | 2008 Steamboat Springs Balloon rodeo July 12-13,2008 was when this years Steamboat Springs Balloon Rodeo was held. It was an absolutely beautfiul weekend with crisp cool mornings - perfect for hot air ballooning. There were approx 38 balloons taking advantage of cool July weather. The balloonists drank (and doused) champagne while testing their flying skills in several skill competitions.
