This young Perentie (Varanus giganteus) is part of the Reptiles inc educational mobile reptile display. In this video "komodo" as he is called goes for a stroll in his new temporary mobile enclsoure, and decides to get up close to say hello:)

this is t tex my new perentie australias largest breed of lizard.....the males can potentialy grow to 8 feet long and attain a load of 22 kgs.....shes about 4 foot and 3 or 4 kgs
