Intercepted the cell about 5 miles east of Kingman on US 54. Getting some forward flank rain and preparing for a hail shower :)

Snake Swimming at Cheney Reservoir
So this snake was hilarious! He was swimming and trying to eat a blugill that was WAY too big for him! I had to stop filming though cause this guy cought a turtle on his line. Sad! But I wanted to see it!

Route 66 - The Main Street of America

March 23rd, 2009 - Driving to intercept cell in Kingman Co.
A lot of blowing dust on US 54 west of Wichita. Very strong synoptic winds with gusts over 70 mph in some cases. We are driving to intercept isolated cell coming out of Kingman, Kansas.
