Haulover Bay (which got its name from the fact that in early days boaters would "haulover" their boats from one side of the low land mass to the other) is an excellent place to dive. St. John Sugar Mill Ruins - US Virgin Islands
Over the years I have visited Sugar Mill Ruins at six different locations on the island of St. John. Reef Bay, Little Lampsur Bay, Brown Bay, Annaberg on Leinster Bay, Caneel Bay and Susanberg on Centerline Road, the only ruins that are not located near the waters edge. All of the ruins used wind power except Reef Bay, which used steam power to press the sugar cane. Produced by Andrew Burnett, Come Out And Play Productions. andrew@goodimpressions.us
