Street Running
Description:
A train runs down 3rd St. in Pine Bluff, AR. The consist is: SSW B30-7 7799 SSW SW1500 2583 SP U33C 8771 SP U33C 8754 SP B30-7 7836 The SP/SSW ended street running in Pine Bluff in the late 80's. The line used to run down 3rd St and cross over the MP at a interlocker. The SP built a connection into the MP line at Missouri St. If you watch some of my videos, especially Downtown II, the tracks curve and then runs straight thru town. That is where the SP built their connection. They used to keep straight instead of curving into town. Also at this time (1985) the U33C's on the SP had reached the end of their lives. I was fortunate enough to have a couple caught on video, even if they weren't running.
