I have more but this is probably the best (the wind gets the light blown away... imagine these guys playing in the dark in the middle of Calif. desert...) The people who were listening to Kyuss at that time (let alone see them in such an amazing setting) are nothing compared to the sheer volume of people who listen to "fashionable" Josh Homme's Queens Of The Stone Age nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I truly adore them, it's just that they keep getting more and more mainstream, especially after Oliveri was kicked off. That Kyuss era was unique and, according to Josh, "if you weren't there, well... you weren't". So here is a small invaluable piece of rock 'n' roll history along with the lucky few who witnessed it, and to all QOTSA fans, please remember where it all started! ...actually, that's something that Josh also needs reminding right now... :-( ...
