Monthly Test of the Jackson County Sirens
This is a video of the monthly test of the tornado warning sirens in Jackson County, GA. This siren is located almost a mile away from my house and is still loud. I apologize about the car, that was my roommate heading to work. It's loud because it was in our little carport. The particular siren you hear is a Whelen Vortex rotating/oscillating siren, and as I said before, is quite loud, even at almost a mile.

Plano Tornado Warning Sirens 12/08/2008
At about 11:10pm on December 8th, 2008 the tornado warning sirens in Plano started to go off and ended up staying on for about 5 minutes. There was some bad storms with tornado warnings and watches for the area but fortunately there were no tornadoes around my immediate area.

Sioux City Supercell in 2004 produces high winds
a large supercell thunderstorm moves thru Sioux City, IA in June 2004. A tornado warning was issued, me , my best friend and his sister went out to get some video. No actual tornado was detected on the ground.
