Last Update before Season 2 launches February 14th:) I was trying for a theatrical look to this video entry. Took me several days to render the whole thing out. The File was so big I had to split it into two parts. This video is up to date as of February 1st, however some dramatic things have happened in my life regarding Family and Friends over my transition since then. I will discuss that in my Season 2 Opener this weekend. Once again, no tutorials to guide me through creating these effects, just what I've learned and applied on my own in After Effects CS4:) Note- The opening title shot (after my logo intro) of the thunderhead and lightning is once again a complete digital composite. It does not exist in R/L. The original time lapse footage was of cumulus clouds on a BRIGHT SUNNY SUMMER DAY. I had to remove the blue sky, the sun and all of the bright highlights to achieve this darkened thunderhead look. I then had to colour correct and add the lightning strike glows. I added several composite layers of fog and dust to sell the shot. Audio is 100% original and mixed in Sonar 7 and Soundbooth CS4. After seeing the final intro, there would've been several things I would've changed to sell the shot better, but oh well. As for the mountain backdrop during the video; it is a fully DIGITAL composited shot I did in Photoshop and AfterEffects. As in this shot doesn't actually exist in R/L, including the tree in the mid ground. The Lake, Tree, Sky, Clouds were all composited in Photoshop from many different elements from several nature shots that I wanted to use but just couldn't find any particular one that fit the mood of the shot I was aiming for. So I created my own:) The Audio you hear has been remastered from the original audio track which had too much background noise. I used several Audio mixing and Editing programs to finally achieve a cleaner audio track. I then foley'd in the wind and bird chirping to compliment the audio. Color Correction and grain effect were accomplished in After Effects. Was trying for a 300 like look to this video. Alot of work went into this video but I had FUN and FRUSTRATION making it hehe:) I am quickly falling in Love with Mercury and Videography and Visual/Audio Editing:) Enjoy
