 | Steamtown CN 3254 to Tunkhannock Viaduct -before the tunnel On September 12 2009, Steamtown ran a trip north across the Tunkhannock Viaduct. The viaduct was part of a cutoff to reduce train time, fuel and wear that was finished in 1915. This huge reinforced concrete multi-arched structure dominates the valley and the little town of Nicholson below it.  | Steamtown 2-8-2 3254 - Slipping West of Cresco Returning from the Delaware Water Gap with a 10-car excursion, Steamtown's ex-Canadian National 2-8-2 3254 battles one of the worst sections of the Pocono Mt. grade, west of Cresco PA on the former DL&W mainline.
