Stonycreek River Gets High
A lot of rain on December 19 2008 caused The Stonycreek River by my house to get very high, also caused flooding in our yard and in a lot of other places in south western Pennsylvania to flood.. Most northen states got a lot snow but my part of Pennsylvania got rain instead.

HICKORY TOWNSHIP, Lawrence County-- An ice jam on the Neshannock Creek along with melting snow and ice prompted an evacuation of a family from a home along the stream in Hickory Township on Sunday.
