The 4th Annual Zombie March was held today in Iowa City. http://zombiemarch.org/portal/ I thought about being a zombie, but thought getting it on video might be more fun. Maybe I'll zombify next year. Two years ago, Julie and I were there as "victims" (zombie food) and it was fun, but this was a blast! The Zombies march from Happy Hollow Park, which is about a block from Oaklawn Cemetery (and the Black Angel), to Deadwood Saloon. Along the way they pass a school, a church and a hospital... great stomping grounds for Zombies. They circle though downtown as well (passing through the natural habitat for Zombies: a mall.) At the end, you get to see Julie devouredy by a horde of Zombies. NOTE: There are some loud screams here and there. You might want to turn your sound down a little bit. This year broke all records, some 150 people showed up and made a good chunk of change. This years charity was to honor his friend from school who died in May 2008 from Necrotizing Fasciitis (the flesh eating bacterial infection) and my beloved cousin. I love and miss Thor always!! |
