SIMON LEACH - how to make a simple RAKU kiln
You will need :- 1 small oil drum - ask your local garage. 1 small burner,pipe,clips,regulator. propane gas bottle.(hardware store) ceramic fibre (you may need to go around twice -you need 2 inches thick minimum-from your pottery supplier) Ceramic glue,not brick cement,glue for fibre blanket. A kiln shelf + props to support.Stiff wire for handle.
