SC Jazz Festival - One Leg Up 's Performance
The SC Jazz Festival is only three years old, but it is growing quickly. Cheraw is the birthplace of Dizzy Gillespie and the logical place for a Jazz Festival. One of the groups presented this year was 'One Leg Up' from Asheville, NC. This group was unique and called their music gypsy jazz. It was somewhat of a combination of bluegrass and jazz and very well performed.
