Escanaba & Lake Superior 402 Coming Into GB 4/6/2008
Here is the ELS coming into Green Bay on trackage rights over the CN Marinette Subdivision. First we see the train crossing the Riverview Drive grade crossing and the Duck Creek Bridge, then entering North Green Bay Yard at the N. Military Avenue grade crossing. ELS 402, an ex-Conrail GP38, leads ELS-painted sister 400 and a bit healthier amount of train than there was on Friday.

We heard E&LS heading north toward Ontonagon in the afternoon, so we set out to find them later in the day heading south. Here they are at Pori, MI. ELS 500 (ex-MILW 182, ex-GATX 7349, SD40-2) Monday, May 26, 2008, 5:42pm

House fire at mp294 stops CSX in its tracks...
The house across the street from me catches fire after the renter fell asleep in bed. I was told be the police that this is the second house this idot has burned down in three months. Meanwhile, a east and west bound CSX train wait till the hoses are removed from the tracks, and then leave. The video is dark as the train passes, but the sound of the two train, the horns, and the fire truck passing are neat... Jackmp294
Chasing ELS 501 South - Lena to Green Bay 4/20/2008
After I got bored watching Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad 1221 and 600 switch Crivitz, I took off back south on US 141 in pursuit of the train bound for Green Bay, with ELS' ex-EMDX/MILW SD40-2 501 leading ex-Conrail GP38 ELS 402. I beat it past the US 141 crossing north of Lena (seen in the second part of the ELS 600 chase video) and set up at the Butterfly Lane railroad crossing between there and Lena. The next scene is the train crossing the Oconto River bridge at Stiles, just south ...
A classic Santa Fe horn on an atsf sd40-2 part II
2nd recording of BNSF 6958 (nee atsf 5192) and its great rs3l. this one sets even a more appropriate step back in time with classic us&s clanger manual bells instead of those stupid e-bells at the gates. this and the previous video stand as a historical documentation of one of my favorite engine types which is vanishing ever so quickly on today's railroad. enjoy this vid as well! recorded near ponder, tx

Wisconsin & Southern's J2 (late-day Madison-Janesville freight) arrives at Stoughton, Wisconsin on a hot summer day with SD40-2 4007 and SD20 2054 coupled elephant style. First the train is shown crossing Door Creek Road between Stoughton and mcfarland. Then, after cutting the train off north of town, the light power heads downtown to collect some gondolas loaded with steel for Zalk Josephs, nearly creaming an idiot driver at Williams Drive. The crossing lights and bell were functioning, the ...
Michigan Target Shooting March 21, 2008
Here is another video taken in Michigan shooting my new Russian Siaga 7.62X39, Marlin 45-70, BPS 10 Gauge and Ruger 10/22. It was my first time shooting the Siaga and the 10/22. Both preformed well with the Siaga only having one malfunction. I was a little bit cold with a little less wind than my last video. As always I was wearing my ear protection. As unsafe as it is I can't stand to wear shooting glasses. It is time however for a new set of ear protection. I'm looking into a better pair ...
