in this video, the storm was not yet under a tornado warning. However, the storm did produce tornadoes in Livingston County,IL later on. This was filmed on August 19,2009 in Pontiac,IL. Storm Story: On August 19,2009 a bow echo (possible derecho) tracked across C Illinois. This storm was rapidly rotating. A Tornado Watch was issued for most of C Illinois. Several tornadoes was dropped with this bow echo. The first tornado warning from this storm was east of the Quincy,IL area. No tornado reported in Adams county, but a tornado did touch down in Scott County SW of Murrayville,IL. Tornado warnings were issued for Scott and Morgan counties. No tornado touched down in this warning area. A tornado warning was then issued for Sangamon and Southeastern Morgan. A tornado did touch down in or near Loami,IL and a tornado also touched down near Southern View,IL. Tornado warnings also went for portions of Sangamon and Logan Counties. The most destructive tornado touched down around this time. An EF3 tornado slammed Williamsville,IL, causing severe damage. Tornadoes were also reported in Logan County in the Elkhart area and possible tornadoes near Mount Pulaski,IL. The storm had a break with tornadoes and then began to race north, mainly impacting the NWS Chicago area. Homes damaged in Vermillion County S of Henning. There were possible tornadoes in Livingston County (the one you saw in this video). Tornadoes were reported in Grundy, ford, and Iroquis counties as well before moving into Indiana.

Soggy Sunday
finally, after nearly 2 weeks of no rainfall, we get a very soggy Sunday! However, it wasn't gloomy. In this video, it becomes a sun shower! A heavy rain with sunshine! It was a pretty good combination of rain and sun. It was sunny and rainy because the band of rain was moving out of the area before the next one arrives. At the end, a rainbow appears.
