It is the anniversary of the Dec 2007 ice storm. These are pictures taken in Missouri towns of: St. Joseph, Union Star, Clarksdale, and Leavenworth, Ks. While we slept, the freezing rain came down. The light of day brought with it the realization of how very venerable we are as human beings to the forces of nature. Without heat, lights, and in freezing temperatures people adapted and endured. Helping one another, and sharing in the misery joy and beauty during that time. Thank you to fellow photographers Becky Miller, and Arley Cordonier for their great pictures. Music: Whiter Shade of pale: Procol Harum
