How To MAGNETIZE an UNMAGNETIZED Palette for ~$1

Description:
BLOG: http://ladylostris.blogspot.com/ New TWITTER: http://twitter.com/lady_lostris OK, so it's a dollar for an elf compact if you have one laying around. But if you don't and have to order it and pay for shipping then it's a bit more than a dollar to turn an unmagnetized palette into a magnetic one. Plus you'll need super/krazy glue to glue in the metal pieces. You may find something at the craft store in lieu of the elf compact. Happy hunting. So I did some rummaging and some snipping, cutting, and gluing and made that palette into a magnetic one. Now I don't have to worry about the pans coming out and I can switch these pans into a MAC palette and I also can put other eyeshadows (MAC, depotted NYX, Milani, Wet n Wild & elf) that I have into this new, improvised magnetic palette. If you don't have an elf compact laying around, you can try to adhere your peel & stick magnets onto the bottom of the wells instead of the metal sheets. But it gets thicker and your eyeshadows will sit a little higher than the other method. But I think the lid will still close well. IMPORTANT: I found out that the magnet to magnet hold didn't really stick as well as the magnet to metal sheet. Some of my other depotted shadows with magnets under them also did not hold very well to the magnetic sheets that I bought. So if you want your shadows to HOLD VERY WELL, the METAL SHEET IS THE OPTIMUM CHOICE! Items used: ~Metal sheet @ the bottom of my elf Elements Compact ($1) ~Regular scissors (it cuts the metal sheet fine) ~Ruler and Pen (to measure out the 16 squares of magnetic sheets and metal sheets...it doesn't have to be perfect...just estimate it) ~Magnetic Sheets (preferably the peel & stick kind, but if not, just glue it) ~Super Glue (whatever kind of super bonding glue...you only seriously need a tiny drop so be careful with it. That sucker bonds forever!) It was two in the morning so the video quality might not be as good as my usual as well as the picture quality. Sorry guys. Thanks for watching and hope this helps! Music: "So Many Tears" by Tupac "I Promise" by Jagged Edge (I do not own any of this music)
