Here's a short clip of my kids playing music in the living room! Ben is playing a Irish tin whistle, Charles on guitar, and Janelle on her fiddle. (And Aaron tending his aquarium) This tune originated as a theme song for a military group from an area in Scotland. Very pretty tune, and the kids play it so well! Sorry the clip cuts the song off at the end...
Napoleonic Fife and Drum Tunes
At the END of a day's worth of practice we decided to record ourselves. Please bear in mind that we are both novices, i have been playing the fife for 6 months (2months with my new fife) and the drummer has 2 months experience. We both have no teachers so we rely on ourselves for the most part. This is the 4th time we played together and half of the songs shown here we had played together for the first time that day. Anyway, hopefully it'll be somewhat enjoyable ;) Leeve de Koning en het 7de!...
