we were following this unbelivable rotating storm. It really wanted to drop with several funnels dropping out. This was the storm that took out portions of Aurora.

Reno County Kansas Damaging Winds June 15th, 2009 1 of 3
(Second video has a lot more of the high winds). Left Newton west to maybe get a chance to chase a tornado since at the time there was a tornado warning, the storms didn't cooperate and lined up, and a warning was issued for damaging straight line winds from 80-90 MPH. This is the first ten minutes of it, watch the 2nd video to see how crazy it got, I'm glad I pulled over before the winds got there or probably would have been flipped. I esitmated the winds to be 75 for a period of over 5 ...
Tornado outbreak Aurora, Ne. June 18th. The day after
We drove back thru Aurora. The path was about 200 yards wide. Damage was the Iams dogfood facility, several rail cars and the house that was just about taken out. As a California storm chaser, it was great to see so many people helping during these times. They will rebuild and move on.....

ok so there was this huge-o storm in dallas like the second night we were there and the lightning outside our window looked really cool, so we all got out our phones and started recording. i didnt realize till i got back home like 4 days later that during one of the strikes of lightning you can see the F3 that hit our hotel clear as day!
