This is a video I took traveling northeast on the 199(Redwood Highway) driving from Cresent City California to Grants Pass, Oregon. Early fall 2006. This was a beautiful drive. Sadly and coincidentally this is not too many miles from the area where CNET editor James Kim got stranded in his vehicle and ultimately perished from exposure in a winter storm late 2006 while bravely seeking help on foot.
