June 24th tornadic supercell.. SD
This cell developed and we high tailed to get to it. Though it was tornado warned the whole day there was no reall confermation of a tornado till a few hours later. towards the end of my clip you will see the funnel 3/4 of the way down. Later on that funnel was confirmed as a touch down. Technically a funnel that is 3/4 down is considered a tornado. This was near mitchel SD just north and east of the city. the funny thing is, s that we sat in mitchel that day for a couple of hours waiting ...
