Franklin County has a long history of Moonshiners and there are many folks living in the county today that were involved or had friends in the business of making and selling illegal alcohol. They are most interesting to talk to and hear the stories of some of their activities. We have heard lots of interesting things and always fun to hear more. The LCF Group has owned properties in Franklin County for years and most of then have old still locations on them. Most of them have many old still parts and some are in good condition. The 5 acre property in this video is for sale with owner financing. It is just great on a nice warm sunny day to take a stroll in the woods and observer the streams, animals and artifacts. The Blue Ridge Parkway is the common boarder between Floyd and Franklin County.
