At this University, you can eat your homework assignment. If you ever thought fly fishing was too esoteric a sport, two fun days in the Rockies will change all that. Based out of Bergen Park, Colorado (less than 40 minutes from downtown Denver) the curriculum consists of classroom instruction, casting and a full day with guides on the Blue River near the Continental Divide. The concept for "Fly Fishing University" was the brainchild of Jim Canon, owner of the Blue Quill Angler Fly Shop. Jim and his staff provide everything you need to succeed . . . rod, reel, waders, trout flies and of course fish. Jim absolutely believes the biggest part of his instruction is insuring that, by catching your first trout, more than just the fish will get hooked.
