We're flying a turbo Cessna 182. Normally you would land on Runway 32 at Glenwood Springs, CO. The day we were there the wind was blowing out of the south so we made a fairly rare landing on Runway 14. Glenwood Springs is at an elevation of 5,916 feet above sea level and has a 3,305 foot runway. Glenwood Springs placed number four in a survey by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of the toughest mountain airports. John Denver's "All of My Memories" is playing in the background. We were headed to Aspen for John Denver Week.
