Abstract: After long periods of exploration of the cycloids, we found the regular pattern of cycloidal normal movement, which has worked out the mutual conjugates of hypocycloid, epicycloids and horizontal cycloid. Thus, the transmission of pure rolling mesh in cycloidal gear has been discovered, therefore, it also established the equation of normal line, the equidistance curve and curvature radius. This paper aims to discuss in detail of internal and external meshing in cycloidal gear, and the principle of meshing between the pinion and rack, as well as their instantaneous opposite velocity of point of tangency was always equal to zero in the pure rolling state. Hence, the precise processing method of cycloidal gear by using with the hob and pinion cutter. The characteristics of the pure rolling meshing in cycloidal gear have been analysis at a brief basis.
