Title:
RINGING ROCKS PARK, BUCKS COUNTY, PA.

Description:
Me and some friends made a trip out to Ringing Rocks Park to make sounds. My idea to cover 'Candy Hearts And Paper Flowers' from the soundtrack to 'Raggedy Ann And Andy In A Musical Adventure' never quite materialized, but this is as close as we came. I think it sounds good. About Ringing Rocks: "Ringing Rocks Park is a 128 acre park nestled in the woods in Upper Black Eddy. Located within the park is a field of boulders, about 7-8 acres in size, that have an unusual property. When the rocks are struck with a hammer or another rock, they sound as if they are metal and hollow and ring with a sound similar to a metal pipe being struck. The park also has Bucks County's largest waterfall. Besides the strange ringing properties of the stones, there are other mysteries surrounding this park. One odd thing about the park is that most boulder fields are the result of an avalanche from a mountainside collapsing. This boulder field, however, is towards the top of the hill, not the bottom. That means it didn't result from a rock slide. There is also no evidence to suggest that these were dropped here by a glacier as glaciers were not thought to have come this far south. How did this boulder field get to be like this? The boulders are made of a substance called diabase which is basically volcanic basalt. This is one of the largest diabase boulder fields in the Eastern United States. The boulders have a high content of iron and aluminum and were thought to have broken apart during the Pleistocene Epoch probably about 12,000 years ago. The boulders were created through many years of freeze-thaw cycles that broke up the diabase into individual pieces, a process known as "frost wedging". The rocks may then have accumulated in this one area as the water saturated soil provided lubrication for the stones to "creep" downhill to their present location, a process known as "solifluction". This could have happened during the prior ace ages when overlying most soil literally slid over the frozen permafrost below, carrying the boulders with it. Others have more fanciful explanations such as radioactivity, meteorites, or strange magnetic fields. Even supernatural possibilities have been suggested, and the area has been studied by those with an inclincation for the paranormal." -- Copied from http://www.davidhanauer.com/buckscounty/ringingrocks/

There have been dozens of sightings recently in the suburban Philadelphia county, and Fox 29's Gerald Kolpan found neighbors aren't afraid to talk about it. So far, nobody has reported taking a ride in any unidentified flying objects. But people who never believed in them before say they've sighted them, literally, in their own backyards. Kolpan reported that, back when he was a kid, it seemed people spotted UFOs every few minutes and there was something of a panic over them. Most of that panic has subsided, but people still see them -- especially people in Bucks County. "The first time I've ever seen it was above this yellow townhouse," said Denise, who believes she was a UFO witness. Denise -- who said she has never believed in little green men and didn't want her last name used for fear of weirdoes -- has seen UFOs over her backyard five times since April. "It was kind of like oval shaped and it was about the size of a car, a small car, and it had three giant headlights on the bottom of it," she said. Since June 25 between Bucks and Philadelphia, 44 such bogeys have been spied. How do we know? Well, people like Denise have pictures. "Between the malls to my right and Don Pablo's is right here there's been V-shaped objects," said Bob Gardner, a field investigator for MUFON -- the Mutual UFO Network. He says the sightings over Bucks are legion, in regular old neighborhoods, right over the Oxford Valley Mall and above the site of the now-shuttered Don Pablo's restaurant. "With the universe that vast, it's like Columbus discovered America, these aliens or extraterrestrials are trying to discover new worlds," Gardner said. Of course, none of this explains the mystery of why the Don Pablo's closed down. But maybe the aliens are like everyone else and love Mexican food and they abducted the kitchen staff.

The Real World: Bucks County, PA Pt.1
I was extremely bored recently so I decided to do yet another dumb video. This is a parody of MTV's The Real World. In this episode, you get to meet the cast members and see what their personalities are like. It's cheesy but it kept me busy for a few hours. Some people might laugh, some might smirk, and some might not even get through the first minute of it. But it's out there for you to watch so do with it what you will. Enjoy.
