Aquarium of the Americas

Title:
Aquarium of the Americas

Description:
Our little family trip to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, LA on October 14th 2009. (My wife had to travel to Houma, LA to take a test to get into the nursing program at a local college, hence a trip during the middle of the week.) It was shot entirely with my brand new Kodak Zi8 HD camera (@720p60)I edited the same day on my wife's iMac with iMovie '09. Fish That Swim Vertically
Isn't this weird?! Called Razor Fish, Shrimpfish, Snipefish, and numerous other names, Centriscus Scutatus has a swim pattern that positions its body vertically when it swims, rather than horizontally like most other fish. It's a strange sight, and wonderful to watch. Isn't nature just great?! The school in this video live at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans.
