A line of severe storms moved through Louisville, KY during the 6PM newscast on WLKY-TV on the evening of July 6, 1987. The station lost power but soon came back on the air under emergency lighting and backup power. This is the final part of the 6PM newscast that night with meteorologist John Belski, anchor Liz Everman, and sportscaster Fred Cowgill. The newscast includes the sportscast from that evening.
